Hi, My name is Fred.
Welcome to my website, now I am residing in Toronto Canada, originally come from Shanghai China. 10 years ago, the thought of leaving China would never in my mind. At that time, my only wish was to find a decent job and save enough money to own an apartment.
Well, look where I stay now! Why, you may ask? The entire world has been changing so rapidly since the last century. High technology and booming economies have made countries closer together than ever before. Although it is not the dream to travel abroad from most Chinese to see the rest of the world, I have a strong desire to explore west world.
In china, there is a old tale called "Jing Di Zhi Wa" ( ). It tells the story of a small frog who has always lived in a deep well. Having come to know the well as his only "world", the sky he realized just as big as the well. I want to be a free bird more than that silly frog. So here I am , an immigrant to Canada to make my wish not be a dream again in my whole life.
One of the main reason I made this site is to introduce the beautiful, historical Chinese culture to the folks here. On the other hand, I find this a terrific opportunity to practice my English. Essentially, to change my "chinglish" to native English!
